"Be the change that you wish to see in the world." ~ Mahatma Ghandi
By Marina Novakovic, May 25th 2021, 22:20 Hope Health Group greatly believes that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world for the better. When we have people approach us about wanting to help out the center, we welcome them with open arms and ears, ready to listen to the ideas that they have to present us - which is exactly what happened when Luis Tamayo, a patched member of the Los Desalmados MC, approached us about wanting to give back to the community. Mr. Tamayo informed us how their MC holds a charity ride each year, this being their first in Los Santos. In support of a local cause, this year, they chose Hope Health Group. The MC, and Hope, are looking to bring the community together with a fun evening of live music, food, free healthcare and a Western Zombie bike raffle to show everyone what we offer, and how we are there to support the community itself. The MC has been working tirelessly to bring in donations of any kind, including both monetary and physical items that will be presented on the day of the event - May 30th at 7:00 PM. These events and the donations connected to them allow us to keep our medical prices low, as well as to provide upkeep for the community center itself. Though this is the first charity event that the community center has hosted on its grounds, we hope that it will not be the last. Getting the community as involved as possible is really what we strive for at the center, and if we can bring everyone together from time to time, we feel like we are achieving one of the many goals that we hold. Donations will be accepted the day of the event, and of course any time after as well. We are looking to accept clothing, personal hygiene items, basic first aid supplies or nonperishable food items. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please reach out by phone: #652-4544. Otherwise, you can reach out via email. |
Hope Health Group joins the world in celebration of the International Nurses Day!
By Dr. Shalimar Joy, May 12th 2021, 12:35 On this day, we want to thank all the nurses of San Andreas for the sacrifices you have made in this selfless journey. For all the care, compassion, and dedication. Nurses play an essential role in our medical institutions such as giving safety or help in the recovery of patients, being the on the front line. No doubt when some patient is in need of care then nurses work tirelessly to identify and protect the needs of the individual. They do so daily with great commitment, knowledge, and skill. The theme for 2021 is Nurses: A Voice to Lead - A vision for future healthcare. The theme focuses on how nursing will look into the future and also how the profession will transform the next stage of healthcare. Nurses are the future of medicine, and we should all take an example. |
